But Sandy's got a soft center though. She's the sweetest ever. She'll text you randomly and ask you how you're doing when you're feeling down. Sandy is never loud with her actions, but they speak volumes. Sandy's a sweetheart for sure.
Bad Ass Sandy
Don't be deceived. Behind the sweet exterior lies a bad ass chick that can kick your butt if you deserve it. I remember one Friday, Sandy was in a take charge mood and I was so overwhelmed. It was nice to see Sandy decide on what she wants and make concrete actions to solve things. Sandy doesn't just take things seated. She'll stand up and fight.
Funny Sandy
Not her most obvious trait, but Sandy's hilarious. You're not laughing at her, you're laughing with her. Her sense of humor is wicked quick though she isn't the first to laugh at your jokes, she'll eventually catch on which prolongs the joke even more.
There's sooo much more I love about Sandy, but there isn't enough time to list all the reasons Sandy is so loveable. Happy Birthday (Popular) Sandy Girl!!! You're still my favorite Popular Girl! I love you and you should too (love yourself -- that is)   Still.Princess. Definitely Royalty -- Not your average royalty, Marian doesn't expect to be served. In fact, she's the one serving others.
Marian may not be my first friend, but I'm glad I can call her a great friend. Marian is always there to fight your fights with you and celebrate your victories. She's the best person to confide in because she won't just sit there and pretend to listen, she really does care about what you say and always knows what to say to make you feel better.
Still, Marian's not just all seriousness, she knows how to have fun. I can spend all day laughing with Marian at the crazy stories she shares and the adventures you'll conquer together are priceless. Her ideas are not only amazing, but funny as it extends to her work -- be it radio drama scripts or TV scripts filled with intelligent but witty story lines.
Marian is also exceptionally talented. She's a walking balancing act. From her academics to student council, to her social awareness, to her family and friends and her loved ones, Marian can handle it all without batting an eyelash.
I know I can count on Marian if I'm in need of anything at all. So on her birthday, I just want to wish her all the best in life and love. Have a Happy Healthy Birthday Marian! I heart you much much much! Believe me, I'm not the only one.  It's all in the name.
I had heard of Anna before even meeting her. We had common high school friends, but never really met. When I got to UP, I had her of her again, because apparently we were in the same course. And from all these people I kept hearing from, they all said one thing: Anna Canlas is brilliant.

I don't have to refer to her transcript, because for sure, it's just got one straight line of unos written down on it. But other than academic excellence, Anna's got wit and a sharp mind that can battle you from the "serious" issues to analyzing the latest episode of the Hills. An intellectual snob, she isn't.

This girl just shines and shines and shines. In everything she does too. Be it styling others or herself (I don't think I've ever seen Anna look plain -- she's always got some wonderful clothes on or the cutest accessories), doing her work for the council, tutoring children, or just hanging out, Anna always shines.

But really more than all this, Anna is a brilliant friend and confidante. I know that my secrets are safe with her and she is never one to judge. Always ready to lend you her notes or her clothes or her "pigeon hole-slash-locker," Anna makes sure life is better for you in any way she can help.

Where's there's a spotlight, you can find the irresistible Sophia Mo. I met her on a jeepney, while shooting for "Now Hiring" where Sophie was the lead actress and I was but a mere extra. I looked at her and thought to myself, 'wow, this girl is something else! She bagged the lead role!' Being camera shy, I was in awe at her presence. It was like she wasn't even acting. It came so naturally. I found out soon after she bagged the award for Best Actress. How could she not.
I wouldn't get to know Sophie personally 'til we became classmates in BC 103, J 101, Comm Res 101 and Comm 120 (all in one semester!) And before I knew it, this girl I was so intimidated with was now my soul sister.
Talking about everything with her: from Gossip Girl, to blogging to music, to school, to love to camwhoring and Marimar and anything else under the sun, I can literally spend hours on the phone with her and not have a dull moment.
Clueless to her amazing talent and beauty, Sophie is humble and down to earth, always first to praise others for their gifts. But really, Sophie is the gift that keeps on giving.

Even if I'm not her first friend in the university, I'm glad she was mine. I still remember her on the first day of school. I felt so lost -- though i was trying to remain cool. And Ruth totally befriended me, no questions asked, as we walked to our PE class together. I knew this girl was something special and I wasn't wrong.
Dedicated Leader
Ruth isn't your typical glory hawk. She's a servant-leader through and through. Not one to trumpet her achievements, she remains silent in the corners -- serving pancit or thinking of ways to make others lives better.
Mother Hen
She doesn't even try and yet she's the most nurturing person I know. Momma hen to the freshies, to the sophies and even to me, she's always making sure everyone else is at home. Ask any freshman if they know Ruth and they probably have the best things to say about her.
Shining Star
